I feel like I am always ridiculously thankful and overwhelmed when Friday rolls around, but today especially I am happy it's the weekend because I worked at Starbucks a lot this week, which was fun but tiring, and I also had a lot of homework and a lab too. Everyone at Trinity has to do at least one lab science so I chose geography (earth science, really) and had the pleasure of wandering around campus with a GPS system trying to find the landmarks with the proper coordinates. It was terribly exciting.

Starbucks is great though! Not to toot my own horn but I don't suck at making drinks, plus the people are lovely. They keep saying hilarious things and then laughing awkwardly in a "Guys, don't freak out the new girl!" kind of way and in my head I am thinking that by this time next week they will most likely have realized how completely insane I am. I think it's because I spend so much time with my roommate, Sarah (who we shall now know as Near Sarah, because I know two other Sarahs at TWU, who are Middle Sarah and Far Sarah, and then there is a Starbucks Sarah also. SARAHSARAHSARAHSARAHSARAHSARAHSARAH. Sorry. I just felt like I had to type that.)

What was I saying? 

Oh, yes. So Near Sarah and I went to Costco this week and saw a stack of boxes called Balloon Time, which we thought was some kind of nifty contraption but was really literally a gigantic tank of helium and 50 balloons. So if you were ever wondering why I have difficulty paying my tuition...this is why. And the $20 cake that said, "Happy birthday EVERYONE!!" on it.
