Dieu merci, c'est vendredi! 01.11.13.

Phew! I'm glad it's the weekend. I only had 4 days of classes this week but they were busybusybusy. Lots of homework, lots of running around either to/from classes or out to the store to get supplies, and lots of looking at the clock and wishing I was asleep. I kind of blocked out the memory of how last semester I was always tired. If even if I slept in until noon. Just...tired. Bleh.

But it's nice to have something to do again and I'm looking forward to all of my classes. Educational psychology will be a lot of work but it's also fascinating. My least favourite class will be geography but at least I'm getting my lab science credit over with.

Also, tomorrow will be really fun! I got tickets to a show called Shen Yun for Christmas so Austin and I are going to take the Skytrain into downtown Vancouver and spend the day there before the show. I spent last night looking up bakeries and found a cute one that sells macarons and Belgian chocolate that I can't wait to try!

As long as it's not too cold tomorrow, we'll be okay wandering around in the city. It's actually really freezing today and this morning on the way to class the entire campus was sparkly and covered with frost. It was pretty but when you go on a run with your roommate at 6:30 AM and your lungs are burning from the cold air and you can't feel your legs...well...you kind of wish it was warmer.

And that's life lately.

I love this pretty picture.

This salad looks so yummy.

I love this quote.

Beautiful street art.

A great tutorial!

I just keep looking at this gif and laughing // What a great goal // An interesting take on feminism in media // Bodybuilders in a MAC makeup ad // Winterfell in gingerbread form

Anyways, I think next week I'm going to try a more condensed version of DMCV. We'll see how it goes.

Happy weekend!
