Dieu merci, c'est vendredi! 01.04.13.

Happy Friday everyone! I'm looking forward to this weekend and going back to school! And, I also got hired at Starbucks so I'm really excited about that! Maybe I'll finally find a good fit for me, as far as employment goes, because I highly disliked working at the movie theatre and American Eagle was only seasonal, plus I didn't get enough shifts. I kind of struggle with working at...more "basic"...jobs like that because I really just want to hurry up and graduate and be a teacher already, and working jobs like these make me feel like I'm not living up to my full potential. But I need to start saving for next year's tuition, so Starbucks it is. Fingers crossed that I like working here!

Today I'm going for coffee with a good friend from back when I was a staff member at a summer Bible camp, and I'm hoping that Austin gets home early enough to come over here and maybe watch a movie or something. I've missed him!

Here's the weekly round-up of links that I thought were special enough to be shared.

A sparkly DIY!

I'm not ashamed to admit that I have a huge girl crush on this funny lady.

I adore this pretty ring!

I love how this outfit incorporates almost all of 2012's major fashion trends but still looks great!

These New Year's Eve photographs are just stunning!

This pretty fish. :)

I am totally going to do this for 2013!

Adorable paper crane-themed cards // Inspiring dancers // Beautiful photographs from the Hubble Space Telescope // A cute shirtdress // Festive macarons // Loving Modcloth's new campaign // As a future English teacher, I approve this post //

Happy weekends, friends.

  1. I spent all my 22 years in education wanting to get out.. eagerly awaiting the big wide world and now I wish I was back there! Well at uni at least, the freedom was amazing.. no pressure! I know exactly how you feel about working too, but hopefully you will enjoy starbucks more! Good luck for 2013.

I keep seeing those glitter diy tights on pinterest, and die everytime I see them. I think I will have a fun project in the near future.
Good luck with Starbucks! One of my favorite jobs I had was being a barista. And happy new year!
